6 HP Mercury made by Tohatsu?

I'm trying to buy a Tohatsu 6 HP Sail Pro and there are none to be found. Then a guy tells me that Mercury 6 HP is the same motor. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't know for a fact, but I have always been told that Tohatsu=Mercury=Nissan for outboards

I've heard the same thing.... but I may have heard it from @Dave Groshong
