I am looking for a large sail boat in size 50-55 foot for sailing around the world.
I wonder if there is anyone who has experienced a
53 'Cheoy Lee Motorsailer the sailing characteristics of the boat.
If the boat is good or bad.

Had a friend looking

I had a friend looking at one of these a couple years ago. He did a lot of research, and would have bought the boat, had he been able to come to a price agreement with the seller. Ended up with a 39 ( I think ) and it was a terrific offshore boat. Wouldn't be a good choice for inshore sailing, but really nice blue water boat. Sailing performance was kinda slow, but overall an excellent choice.
