not because anything was wrong or broken. Just because we are exchanging our full batten main for a furling main. We brought the boat back to the dealer this weekend for that purpose as well as some more "punch list" items to be taken care of prior to the end of the season. We are also having the exterior teak hand rails and teak accent stripes removed and replacing with stainless hand rails. We've owned our 460 for 3 months now, and we could not be happier. She is one terrific boat, and should be a "home run" for Hunter Marine. Mark Johnson S/V Anthem H460

Mast

Mark; I believe in the in-mast furling as it does have two distinct advantages. You can easily furl to any position and stowing it away is alot easier. Make sure you point into the wind when releasing or furling it up. As for the tuning of the mast, it will not have the prebend as on other masts due to the furling system inside the mast itself. Selden does make a good mast. I was glad to have in mast furling when sailing in the islands last year durring Hurricane Bonnie.
