Did it on my 430
Hi, Gordon,I installed both fresh and seawater spigots on my 430 in the anchor locker, and while there are differences in the boats, perhaps my experience may be helpful. I installed a "T" fitting on the seawater intake for the forward head, and then ran a water line to the compartment in the forepeak which is, on my boat, a rear anchor locker. There, I installed washdown pump, being careful to avoid the area where the anchor chain drops. There is a bulkhead (open at the top) intended for an optional inner forestay, to which I mounted the pump. Perhaps you have this also. From the pump output, I installed another "T" and ran one line back to the galley for a seawater rinse sprayer. The other line runs up to a spigot installed on one side of the forward anchor locker, to the side of the windlas. I used a Sureflo "Blaster" pump, and the pressure is fair, not great, but it works. I installed another spigot on the opposite side, for fresh water, running a line for that from the cold water supply in the forward head sink. Hope this helps. If you need photos, let me know and I'll take some and send them along.Regards,George
