Sadly, today I pulled my 170 out of the water for probably the last time this season. Right now the weather seems perfect for sailing, but I didn't have time to sail this morning at 8AM, only time to pull the boat out. I believe that we will still have good sailing weather here in SE Michigan, but my nice days will be spent doing yard work from now until the snow flies!! Anyway, I posted some weeks ago that it usually takes me close to 2 hours to rig and launch the boat, and the same to put it away. Today it was 45 minutes from fully rigged in the water to pulling out of the parking lot (Thanks again for the check-list Rusty!!). There are a couple of things that have been causing me extra trouble and time, that I think I have taken care of. My tilt-bed trailer had holes that didn't line up properly, and usually I spend at least 20 minutes in the parking lot trying to get the dang pin back in the hole. Today I took my Mikita and drilled the puppy out a little more, even with time spent drilling it was the fastest I have done. Next year I am going to trailer it more, hopefully my time in the parking lot will get better. John
