45' leak port side

I have a 45’ 1987 hunter and noticing moisture on the port side midship in the Plexiglas storage area. Right next to the hull, but I can’t figure where it’s coming from. I would think the fuzzy carpeting would show water trail signs. Especially as wet as it is along the hull & wood shelf. Does anybody have an ideal?

I had similar problems on a 1986 45' and found it to be from water intrusion coming from the stanchion bolts. At first I thought it came from the railing, but not so. John
