I have purchased a First 42s7 in French Polynesia and will be sailing her back to New Zealand. For the blue water trip,I wish to lay safety jacklines between the forward and aft mooring cleats on both sides. I will have these made but as the boat is currently 3,000 miles away, I have no way of measuring the length. Can anyone tell me the distance in a straight line between these cleats. The boat is 12.95 M long overall and I think it may only be 10 M between the cleats. Any help would be appreciated from someone handy with a measure. Thanks John Mangan.
