Ive owned my 1999 410 for 6 months and have a few (actually more than) upgrades planned. I’m baffled as to how to fish wires from the Nav Station / DC Panel up to the base of the mast area.
Beyond this more immediate Wire Route, if anyone knows a source if info on various other tricks for fishing wires (fore and aft) for the vessel that would be great. Thanks!

There is a chase there between the mast step and the nav station area. It's molded into the ceiling. I have run a fish tape down through there I believe and I left an extra pull string for future plans. You might be able to find a wire that runs to the base of the mast that isn't well secured and use it to act as a pull string to get a real string pulled.

My 1998 H430 has an circular access in my Fiberglas Arch on both interior sides.
I have opened it and all the cables to service that arch are there and wire can be pulled.
_____
Also there is an access panel to the chase to the mast, in the Starboard side Cabinets to guide the wires from Nav Table to mast access panel.

Mine has that also. But sometimes it is easier in the long term to add an access panel in the and install a cover after. People get worried about cutting into the liner/pan/grid pieces and shouldn't be.

I've run wires from one end of the boat to the other. There is a wire chase above the ceiling to the mast (as previously stated). There is a wire conduit on the port side from the nav station to the port locker. There is a conduit from the helm into the boat.
The helm station conduit is not big enough for all the stuff I have added so just drilled new holes next to the locker under the ped cover.
There are also little access plates in the ceiling. I have never had to cut more holes for access.
And yes, pull an extra pull line for future wires. You will need it!
Happy fishing

As a recently retired electrician the concept of fishing wires is not new, but I’m used to being able to making a hole or two in sheet rock if needed to get to where i need to go. I’m not keen on making the boat interior look like Swiss cheese just for exploratory holes - hehe. Thanks for all the great advice!
