Hi:

Can anyone please help with the details of the inside of this mast. I want to put a tricolor and radar. Is there room for the wiring? Any suggestions on proceedure and how to? Thank you, Ed

Somehow taking off the mast to mount a radar seems like a waste of time.

Why not put a mast/pole on the transom and mount the radar. A new pole and mounts will cost less and be easier to mount the wiring into the pedestal. Plus you wont have to pay for a 50 ft. extension cable.

And a tricolor on a mast seems redundant when the boat was wired with redgreen forward and stern white already.

Short answer is yes
but
there are two conduits running side by side along the front of the mast on the inside. They ride in 4 groves as they are split down the long length (top to bottom) the hole in the deck DOES NOT line up with them. You would have to make the wires for the radar do an S-turn inside the mast at the bottom. At the radar antenna you will have to drill a hole and then figure out how to get the wires out of the conduit with no access.......you would not want to drill into the conduit with hole as that would probably cut the wires in there already.... and a radar antenna mounted up high will suffer from heel effects just like a VHF high gain (microwave very high gain=radar) antenna..........go with waterwaves suggestion.
