Weary of the constant polish battle with my 25 year old Pearson, am getting a new 41 ft, Hunter. They claim finishes last much longer today against chalking, but can it be true? Do full boat covers that large on a sailboat work? Does it make economic sense in the longrun? Do they chalk anyway from age even with protection from sun?
