3M 4991B VHB tape

Looking for 1/2" BLACK 4991 VHB tape for my window replacement project. I have located an Ebay seller with 1/4", and am thinking I may have to run a double row, unless 1/4" is sufficient to hold the plexi in place while the 795 cures? Anyone have a source for 1/2" black 4991?

From what I could find, the 4991 only comes in gray.

When I replaced the fixed ports on my Catalina 28 I had to paint the inside of the plexiglass black where it was mounted to the hull. Otherwise the white fiberglass it is mounted to shows through. The paint also hides the gray tape. The tape is strong, I believe it is the major fastener and the 795 mostly just seals things up.
