I have a 1987 Hunter 34' and I am having an oil leak at the back of my 3GM30F engine where the engine meets the bell housing.. Does that mean I have a bad main bearing?

Maybe, but look for the simpler possibility. Perhaps it is the bell housing or pan gasket.

There's an oil pipe that runs across the back of the engine that is prone to corrosion and leakage. Yanmar part number 128370-39200.

Even if it's not the problem, it's a critcal item and should be inspected regularly.

I had oil leak rear engine and took months to try and find out where and track down and constant wiping and cleaning and it was rear main seal.
I did spend about a year looking where the leak was from on 07 H-36 3YM30 and finally found it got messy and from bell housing and rear main seal.
Was a lot of labor moving motor up so tranny bell housing could clear to remove to get at seal and lots time removing things to move motor up.

Assuming you are keeping the outside of the engine clean and there's no drips on the top or sides or out of any pipes, and it's not coming from your injectors and only coming out the bottom, then I also vote for rear main seal..... about 3 hr job for a good mechanic assuming there's room to sit back there and getting the transmission out doesn't require taking the boat apart.
