I´ve just bought a 381 (built in 1996) When I sail it with the engine it turns right strongly. If I let it go on its own, in 100 or 150 m. is making circles clockwise. To keep it straghit ahead I have to hold the whell a bit strongly. Sailing wihtout engine ("sailing") the behaviour is right, and nothing goes wrong. Any help.?? Thank you very much.

turning right

Nic; All sailboats tend to turn right under power because of the prop turning. You may have more or a bigger prop than you need if it is very pronounced (TPO may have put it on, thinking he'd get more speed under power) You might be able to go down a size and still get hull speed at a reasonable RPM.
