Greetings, I am far away from Cirrus Minor, formerly Jolly Roger, a 1984 37c which will be moved to the working yard soon, and I am trying to buy an old school flax/ bronze stuffing box to replace the newfangled dripless contraption. I measured the shaft at 1" but forgot to measure the hose. For $50,000 and your free trip to Hawaii hose inside diameter please. Thank you!

Sorry, I don't have a clue except to suggest that since you know the shaft diameter, could you go to West Marine and ask them to look up their list of stuffing boxes for a traditional,
1 " prop shaft and read the specs for the nipple on it?

I think you will need to measure (or someone with this specific boat to provide) the OD of the shaft log.
Buck Algonquin lists 2 different ID hoses for a 1” shaft… 1 3/4. And 2”. I have a 1” shaft on my O’Day 322 and I needed a 1 3/4” ID hose when I replaced my hose a few years ago…
I have the bronze stuffing box and 1 3/4 ID hose for sale if you are interested…see my PM.
