35s5 question

Well, our bid on the 35s5 was accepted and survey is a few days off. I managed to get a lot of info on the boat, but one thing is a bit of a mystery....what are those vertical odd fixtures with the lights in the bulkheads. They look almost like they could hold a tiny fire extinguisher...and little else! Someone must know! Thanks, Robert NY35s5 pending

Reading Lights

Hello Robert,Think of them as a small bedside table. There should be a small length of shock cord across the bottom. If you remove the piece, you can retie the shock cord through the holes. With that in place, you could put a water bottle there. Ours also have chrome shelves that slide into the grooves on top. The round thing under the light is an ash tray (which isn't used on our boat).Hope this helps.Shelley
