356 bed accomodations

Hunter's website and brochure make the bedding with stitching in the forward and aft staterooms appear as mattresses, i.e, possible coil spring. Model at WNY dealer had same pattern without stitching over conventional 4" foam padding.Are real mattresses as on the Catalina 310 available for the 356, std or option?We're seriously interested but sleep comfort is a big point for the first mate.

Cruising World review of 326

Dec. issue says the interspring is standard on the 326 and 356. It is not listed as an option on the hunter marine site.

good nights sleep

We have not received our 356 yet, but I did order a feather bed for it. The first reason was comfort; my ulterior motive was to protect the light color fabric that Hunter seems to offer. I will tell you that once you have slept on a feather bed (a good one) you'll never want to be without. We have also found lightweight down blankets to be ideal for both cold and warmer weather.
