35.5 Legend hatch trim ring

Hello,
A friend has a Legend 35.5 with a bad trim ring on the forward hatch. He is trying to replace it, but can't find a part number and manufacturer for it. Does anyone have information which you are willing to share that I can pass along?

If you find a source, please share. I have a broken one on my 35.5 and I figured I would be making one out of teak, as both hatches the plastic is brittle.

Hi Randall,

I am assuming the forward hatch in his 35.5 is an unframed rectangle of plexiglass that closes flush with the deck. If that's the case, the hatch was assembled by Hunter from components purchased from several suppliers. Unfortunately, the supplier who made the trim ring is out of business and the mold no longer exists.

That said, if the hatch says Lewmar or Bomar o the lens let us know, he may have something else on his boat which can be replaced.
