340 Refridgerator

My Adler Barbour original gets cold but freezer not cold enuff to make ice
Had tech look it over monitor etc and can not come up with answer
Cooks clean etc
Fan runs
Seems to have coolant
Anyone have this issue??

where are you it may be too hot out side where you are or you may need to defrost the refer

I never tried to make ice in the refrig on my 2000 H340 but mine will keep a bag of ice frozen for the whole summer at a middle thermostat setting of # 5.
Some suggestions: Check the fit, seal and locking of the lid. Check that you are not loosing cold air out of the drain hole in the bottom of the refrig. Every 2-3 years remove the forward cowl from the compressor unit and vacuun the dust and dirt from the coils. Also make sure that both of the fans on the compressor unit are working. Lastly, you can insulate the coolant line that runs from the compressor, under the settee bench to the refrig.

Seems to have coolant? Have it pressure tested. Another thing you can check is the air flow around the coils. Accumulated dust or any other obstruction will reduce cooling ability.

Something is definitely not right. Mine will freeze a tray of ice made from room temperature water in a few hours. We leave ours on from early April to late November in Georgia to keep the beer cold. Setting is about two steps down from maximum or it will freeze cans of soft drinks sitting on the bottom.
