Finally got a chance to try my new bowsprit with the Doyle UPS last weekend. Made it from 3" 6061 tubing from speedymetals.com, about $60 for a six foot piece. Should be a lot stronger than 2" conduit I used before that was bending every time the wind got over 12 knots. And I got real lucky to find the photo posted of us with the A-sail up.
