Both my Genoa tracks are leaking badly and need to be removed and re-caulked. An impact wrench made quick work of removing the nuts from the starboard track.
Anyone know how to access the bolts on the port side between the cockpit locker and the galley. They seem to be inaccesable as they just disappear behind the cockpit/galley bulkhead but many in the galley are leaking so the whole track should come up.
Hope it doesn't call for a sawzall.

Crawl into the cockpit locker and look above the water heater. That's where the aft most nuts can be located. If they are like mine, you'll find 4 of them backed with a really soggy teak strip.

Yes I found them, but the next ones seen are in the galley in the sliding door storage area. Should be about a foot worth of nuts in between those two areas. If I can't get to them, don't know how I get the track of to stop the leaks.

I ended up with careful measurements drilling a 1 1/4" hole in the aft end above the cabinet . Then I got a tan plastic snap in cap to cover the hole

Best of luck

I think the cabinets are held in by "L" brackets. You might be able to remove them and then reinstall ?

Will try to squeeze a universal socket in there first. First have to get to the aft three nuts that are just past the "soggy wood" hidden behind a fiberglass liner on the starboard side quarter berth. May have to cut the fiberglass liner to get on those.
