Ok Here is the problem. I own a hunter 33 and it has the original yanmar diesel. This season the transmission does not want to engage in forward with out me practically shutting the engine down then gasing it up when it does engage. Reverse is no problem in or out and I dont need to practically kil the engine, I have checked the cables they are fine. I have changed the fluid in the tran. When I do have the engine in forward and running for a while it is so hard to shift it out of forward to neautral. Please grant any experience or input to this dilemna.
