33.5 Roller Furler

I have a problem with the below deck roller furling line dropping off the barrel and not retracting my 100% jib. Any suggestions?

Keep some tension on it?

Tried that, it still drops off I'm wonder if a smaller line would work better? Any experiences with that?

Nope.

I guess I'd try contacting the manufacturer of the furler for help.
