33.5 battery question

Our "91 33.5 house batteries are in the very bottom of the aft seat starboard locker, which made it difficult to check the water level (thus went to AGMs). The starting battery is in the top of the port aft seat locker above the fuel tank where the battery switch is. I don't if they came that way originally.
Pictures please! We picked up our boat w/no batteries at an estate sale. Looks like PO had them in the quarter berth port side next to the prop shaft.. doesn't quite look like they should be there...
I have a 93 H33.5, bought it in St.Pete back in 2000.
I use 4 golf carts in the port rear compartment to the left of the helm, been doing that since about 2001, never had a problem or issue.
