Hi, could you post this on any bulletin board you may have, Thanks I am looking at a 1990 32' Hunter Vision. I would appreciate any information from owners or crews about these boats. Hunter only built these boats for a few years. Any reason why? How good/bad is the free standing mast? How well does the fractional rig work in different conditions? Any information will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Great boat. You will pay a premium for a good example on the left coast. E-mail Rodger Beard from the owner directory for info about performance. Also, read the owner reviews. There was buyer resistance to an unstayed rig and it was expensive relatively speaking). The newer B&R hunters employ a similar sailplan. Rick D.

1990 Vision-32

we are in the process of buying a 1990 Vision-32. True, there was (is) a lot of resistance to the unstayed mast. But, it has proven itself. And, a lot of people don't like the large island icebox. As well, there is the "crawl-in" V-Berth. On the West Coast, V-32's seem to retain their value. On the East Coast however, the values are about $15K LESS !! If you, like us, plan on keeping the boat and not moving "up", they are one of the best values in a 32' boat. But, you probably noticed that.
