I have an problem getting the starter to connect. The problem happen randomly. I turn the key on and press the start button and nothing happens or there is a slight click. I play around with it for a while and finally get connected. I have replaced the start button and added a relay to boost power to the start. Can anyone give me a suggestion.

Jim:

If you check the archives you will find a lot of information regarding the starting problem on different models.

The first thing you may want to check is the connections on the solenoid and starter. If these are good, you may want to consider running a test wire from the key switch to the starter.

You will see that many owners have added a reply in the line. The problem quite often turns out to be high resistance in the wire.
