310 modifications

Just bought a sept 99 310. Preferred it to a 320. Thinking of a 2-blade folding prop-anybody done this? Does it give you a lot more speed? Also what about 42" wheel?

Flex-o-fold

I did it on my 29.5 with Flex-o-Fold , then advised by Hunter.Still going fine 2 years later. It improved much speed on both sailing AND motoring , even compared to a 3-blade fixed one !

310 vs 320

Since the 320 is new and I haven't had a chance to inspect it, what differences between the two models pursuaded you to stick to the 310? Does your 310 have the stainless steel arch?

BruceI found a real nice sept 99 310 with a s/steel arch.Nicer heads, and this one has oven, spray dodger and side screens£8000 cheaper than 320! No real differences, apart from twin spreaders and a chart table on the 320. fitting a lot of extras at present (gps/autopilot, reefer,radio cd,spinnaker winches, folding prop etc.)Watch out for something really dumb-the coachroof winches are different sizes-Port hand is far too small to sheet genoa in a blow!
