If you have or know of a C30 on the west coast of Mexico and they are not planning to do the Banderas Bay Regatta you will miss a great event!
This is the 18th year and we have four C30's entered so far. If one more enters we will have a one design start! How cool would that be?
The regatta is runs from March 6 to March 20. It is a low key event "specially designed with Cruisers in mind - fun but competitive races between boats designed for coastal and offshore cruising."

The rating system is "Cruiser Friendly" with credits for cruising sails, roller furling, extra weight, etc. They know that boats that sail here are not in full on race trim. I think there were about 50 boats last year. The awards party was a hoot!
What is the weather like where you are in March? Extra crew is always welcome if you want a week away sailing in paradise.
