302 foredeck length

trying to figure out the usable foredeck area on the 302 (e.g. for a dinghy).

I can see that the J dimension is 11'4" but I assume the usable space is a lot less, especially not covering the anchor well.

Can someone tell me how much usable distance there is from the mast to the anchor well?

I know this is nitt-picky info but I am building a dinghy while shopping for a 302.

I have a hard 9' dinghy as well as a 9' RIB. Both fit on the foredeck, but cover the anchor locker. So if you need to anchor you have to unstrap the dinghy at least partially in order to get at the anchoring gear.

I have davits on the back which is definitely convenient, though requires some shuffling of weight to keep her ass end from sinking too much.
