I have an 1983 O'Day 30 in Deltaville. I had the shaft replaced this spring and the yard cut it into pieces removing it, now I have a pulsing in the wheel, and I'm concerned the shaft length is incorrect causing this problem. I've been unable to locate a reference to the correct shaft size, and I didn't measure the distance from the cutlass bear to the front edge of the prop. If you have your boat on the hard or will be pulling it soon, please measure that distance in inches and forward that measurement to me.
