Designer, Name?
The value will very much depend on the reputation of the boat made in the mold. This, in turn will depend on the history of the mold:1. Who designed the hull? If the designer is known, he will be able to describe the design's characteristics. And his reputation will attach to the value of the mold, even of only a few boats were produced with it.2. What was the model of boat produced by the mold? How many were produced? Even finding one example would be helpful. It would be much more valuable if a number of hulls were produced, and they have a good reputation. If both 1 & 2 are missing, there probably isn't much value in the mold. The only way to establish one would be to somehow measure the "lines" of the hull it will produce, get a reputable designer's opinion on those lines, and then find someone who wants to produce a boat to see if it works as the designer thinks it will. Lot's of expense and risk on this option.Good Luck,DavidLady Lillie
