After sailing for over 45 years, I finely found a way to get air into the cabin.If your like me, I just live to cruise without air conditioning. The wind is Free. When they make an a/c unit that will run on 12 volts, I might think about it. It's just the noise of a engine I don't like. I have solar and wind generator. So I made a wind scoop that will catch the wind from all directions. When I'm cooking I want air in the cabin,it get hot, and I did not want to go on deck to keep moving the old style wind scoop to face the wind. It's a pain.When the boat moves the wind will keep coming in the cabin.

The other thing I found is if you put a dry paper towel in the veggie they will last for about a month.It really works.

How about some photos. I am sure your design must have divided the scoop into 3 equal parts to achieve this. You must give up a little air flow from the reduced area.

I find that my boat generally points into the wind when anchored and that the Breeze Booster is the best wind grabber you can buy. It also deploys and stows in about 15 seconds. Great when a quick shower comes up.

Worked in Belize

We chartered a big Cat in Belize and while it was very warm at night. A wind scoop was nice to have aboard. Moving air makes a difference. I'd like to get one for my Morgan 30 for those 'soon to arrive' warm summer nights.
