Any problem using 3/4"id, black rubber "heater hose" with an 80psi rating for raw water intake hose to toilet? Much better price from hardware store than 200psi hose from West that seems to be overkill and looks identical. I'm teeing off and connecting to my sink drain for fresh water flushing as per your articles. Sink drain on my 35.5 is 1 1/4 diameter and it took some searching at same store to find all the fittings and a shutoff valve, but I'm ready to start tieing it all together. Thanks Peggie.

If heater hose is rated for below-water connection

AND to carry water, it's ok to use it. The same mfrs who make sanitation, exhaust, water and every other kind of hose also make heater hose...do a little research and see what shows up on their usage charts. Look for a "schedule" number (for instance, one type of hard PVC is sch. 40...white sanitation hose is sch 148) on the heater hose and match it with the same schedule # on the mfrs' sites.
