I have a noise coming from the fresh water circulator pump. Has anyone had this happen? I wonder how difficult it would be to replace. The belt is a little loose so I will try to adjust it and see if the noise goes away. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have a noise coming from the fresh water circulator pump.
Haven't seen (or heard) a problem with 2,000+ hours.
Replacement is easy ................ paying for it, not so much.
Time to open it up and see what's going on inside with one or more broken vanes being the likely culprit.

See if the pulley wiggles. Mine failed at the most inopertune time catastrophically. There were ball bearings all over under the engine. It's an easy diy repair. If it's noisy, it's probably going to blow.

Mine went two hours outside of Newport 2 years ago..... had to sail up into harbor and pick up mooring. easy to change. If you start hearing noises it could be time. Loosen the belt and see if you can wiggle pully like was said. You may also see it wobbling when engine is running. I didn't have to replace the whole pump, just the inner part. Housing was fine.
Good luck
