When engine is cold the ideal rpm is about 850-900rpm. After some driving around and engine warm up real good, the idle speed dropped to =<800rpm, rocking badly.
I suppose I could raise the cold idle rpm to 900+, perhaps then the warm up idle speed would be 850+rpm. Any idea?

well try that and see if it will work for you don't be shy another 100 rpm's at idle on warm up is not going to be that much and if it drops back to 850-900 at full warm up then you are good to go or you could set the idle when it is full warm at the rpm you need to have it at...if it were as gas engine you would set the idle after the automatic choke was full open / full warm would you not
