Looks like I have a buyer for Sailvation.

A committee from the club came up today, inspected the boat and made me an offer, which I accepted.

Turns out they have (had) 3 Capri 22's, till one got dropped hard on it's keel :-(
Seems they rent them out to members .

Of course, being a yacht club, one of their lawyers is drawing up the bill of sale ... let's see how close it comes to the format I used. Which I based on the bill of sail when I purchased if from a dealer/broker.

Now I will start getting Capri # 427 ready for sailing. Hopefully the ice will off the river before the 4th of July :)

Owning one sailboat is crazy enough, but two. Congratulations on getting back to a reasonable level of sanity or insanity, depending on your views

The ice on lake Erie is 48" thick 2 miles off shore from Dunkirk Harbor. The Ice boom is kept in place until the lake has is less than 8 square miles remaining. Unfortunately for me the ice in the Buffalo river won't flow downstream until well after the boom comes out. Me thinks it will be a late start to the sailing season in Buffalo Harbor.

Come on warm weather,

The ad is still up on the web sites.
I think they do that just to increase traffic.

I removed the ad from all the Craig's list sites. And have informed Sailingtexas.com and sailboatlistings.com.

Interesting; the person found me using the sailingtexas.com site.

I rand ads in Boating on the Hudson and Wind Check magazines.

I live in NY and th buyer lives in NY.

Sailing Texas is the best sailboat sale site there is.

Just a suggestion? A small donation to Allison (Sailing Texas)?
She doesn't insist, which makes it all the more important...
