Quick question to the H290 owners. Does the cabin table drop to allow for a larger berth? If so, how easy/difficult is it to switch? And also if so, does Hunter by chance provide the necessary cushions for the conversion, or would those have to be procured elsewhere?Thanks

Salon table

Yes, the table does drop down to make a berth in the salon. I've never done it, so can't tell you how easy it is. Can't be that tough, though. And the extra cushion is provided.

Yes its easy

I haven't used it as a bed in over a year but if I remember you just pull the pin and it slides down and turns into a bed with the cushion and comes with the boat from hunter,they misplaced it and almost forgot to give it to me. nick

Takes two to switch

Used it many times as a berth; just one caution - while one person can lift it up and get the pin back in, if you want to be kind to your back, get someone to help. The table rides up the compression post, but the fit is tight and snug (as it should be) and won't tolerate being pushed up from one side ahead of the other.BTW - its a great single berth; only my friendliest friends have shared it.
