All my days of whining about PHRF are over. Our 10 year old Hunter 29.5 took first place at the NEBCO Regatta this year! Yeeha! First to finish across the line and on corrected time. We beat some fast boats. Thanks to crew John Ferguson and Chris Rooke (Rooke Sails), a clean bottom, a 150 genoa, and an asymetrical spinnaker we had a great race. Also much thanks to regatta sponsor sailboatowners.com and the dousing sock that Bly help me order through Hunterowners.com! If you want to race a 29.5 I suggest you look into the 150 genoa and the assymetric chute with a sock.
