28 HP Beta marine engine Help

I'm looking at a boat that recently had the Westerbeke 27 replaced with a 28HP Beta Marine.
I would appreciate any information on the Beta. I understand that it is a marinized Kubota.
Anyone who has info on the ease of repair and parts availability etc. etc. please jump in. Thanks...

Excellent motors and excellent customer support. You have nothing to worry about as long as the install was done well. The Westerbeke 27 was a marinized Mitsubishi and the Mitsubishi's, Yanmar's and Kubota's are all top notch Japanese diesels...
