Just pulled my boat for the winter. Hunter 28.5 with a Westerbeke 10hp diesel to push it. The prop on it now is a 12x9, this seems to be ok around the river but it really struggles in the tide. I think I am under proped for my boat. I can hit max RPM (3600) with a snap, the motor never seems to be working hard. The web site says it should be a 14x10 prop, but that is specified for a larger Yanmar engine. Any other 28.5 owners (or anybody for that matter) that can offer some advise?ThanksScott
