My 1988 h28.5 seems to have developed a leak between the aluminum "U" the hatchboards sit in and the frp the "U" sits in. (either that, or the mainsheet travellor needs to be removed and re-caulked.)To re-caulk the "U", is it necessary to remove it totally or can I just use some good high-quality sealant on the outside of the joint between the "U" and the FRP?Also, if forced to remove/re-caulk my travellor, is it a big job? ANy special concerns I should be aware of? Looks to be jusat a bunch of thru-bolts that need to be removed and re-caulked.
