28.5 fresh water tank replacement

I just opened the fresh water tank on my 1987 Hunter 28.5 sailboat. OMG! A lot of mold and blisters on the inside of the lid. Blisters and stress cracks on the tank. Mold growing on four or five spots on the inside of tank.
The tank is glassed into the hull liner.
What is the best way to replace the liner. Any help will be appreciated.

The spigots seems standard through hulls and are not expensive. You can get them here at the SBO store or even amazon. I’d replace them and all of the hose. Next I’d scrub the tank As clean as I could and then lightly sand it. Clean again and put two coats of epoxy barrier coat rated for portable water . James Town Distributors sells the epoxy you need and will talk you through the application.
On the blisters... I’d just pop them and clean and barrier coast.

mouth it all back together and then maintain with a good cleaning protocol
