The domestic water system on my 272 is over powered (a Shurflo pump with 45 pounds per sq. inch pressure). This causes continual leaks in a rather Heath Robinson installation. I am tired of fixing leaks, but don't tell me to reinstall everything (these faucets are impossible to get at). So I added an in-line rheostat to the pump and it reduced the pressure marvellously. However, these pumps need enough pressure in order to switch off, and my problem now is that the pump is on all the time -- running down my batteries. The pressure is too low for the pump to switch off. I realize I can keep switching on and off at the switch-board, but I find the pump gets left on too often and the batteries run down. Anyone had this problem and solved it?
