I removed the rudder on my 272 at the end of last season to strengthen the locations where the tiller and rudder pintles fasten to the rudder. I have misplaced drawing showing the measurements that show me the locations to redrill the holes for the pintles. Will someone measure the distance from the top of the leading edge of their 272 rudder to the top of the upper pintle and to the top of the lower pintle and post the measurements for me here at the site? Hopefully I'll get a bunch of replies with the exact same measurement... I'm ready to repaint the rudder, but I want to drill the holes first to check the fit of the rudder. Thanks, Tom

Hope it is going well. It sounds like you are about ready to splash her. I am still waiting for weather to get paint on mine. I have 15 days before I can, hopefully, get a mooring. r.w.

Tom, Sounds like you got the problem solved. What projects have you worked on this winter? I've done a lot of work and would love to trade notes as we have done in the past. Drop me a line sometime. I am changing my home e-mail address so the one below is best for now. Frank conleyf@tigerfuel.com
