Hi All, While removing the hull liner on my 272 LE, I found I could not get the opening ports to release from their mounting... The ones that are mounted within the forward plexi windows. I am inclined to just leave them but there is still a little liner stuck underneath them. Anyone clear on how these ports were originally mounted and whether I should expect to be able to get the off without destroying the plexi window? Thank you! Andrew

I may not be helpful, but have you removed the frame that finishes off the opening ports...those you speak of are in the head (2) and one in the quarterberth, correct? i've not taken the finishing frames or opening ports out..but I'm sure others will reply that will be more helpful. Pat

Thanks Pat... I took all the screws out and pryed a good bit on the framing, but to no avail. These things seem to be glued in solid. Worst case, I will cut the carpet as best as possible around the ports but was more so interested in getting the frames off in case I decide to refit with new liner. As it stands, I am leaning toward smoothing the interior hull out and painting. Andrew
