Pat, I own a 272 and have written a review at this site. There are reviews of the 272LE also here. Go to the ODO home page and click on "The Boats". You will find the reviews and lots of names and addresses of owners of both. The vital statistics of the boats are identical. The color schemes differ, and the LE is wheel-steered while the 272 is tiller-steered. The inboard diesel is standard on the LE and optional on the 272. Some LE owners may note other differences.
