27' foward hatch dimensions

I am currently half way across the country from my boat, which is in Florida and did not get some dimensions I needed. The current hatch is a temporary one I put on when I put it on the hard and would like to have a better hatch to attach when I get back there this winter. I require the dimensions for the forward hatch opening so I can make the replacement. I need the opening size, lip width, and the angle the deck is. If anyone with a 27 out there can help me out with this I would be grateful.

What for you be needin' the deck angle mon? There is a flat about an inch and a half all around the thing. There is a slight curvature fore and aft that will be unique to every 27. I can supply the information up to and including the actual 27 hatch dimensions core thickness and blah, blah, blah. I can also furnish a cardboard template of the curvature. Let's get it worked out via PM or this thread and I will give you everything you never wanted. Okay mon?

That sounds good, though I don't recall any curvature fore and aft just the crown across the beam. This boat did not come with a hatch on it so I don't know how the original one looks, it was an abandoned at a yard in Florida.

You is correct that the curve runs athwartships, (port to starboard) and this is why I wanted to get everything clear. I have an Oday 27 1976 Model I will be happy to draw sketches of the opening and diagram of the hatch itself along with the template for the curve. How's that sound to ya.
