26x mast

I've got a opportunity to buy a hurricane charley damaged 26x.It needs a new mast and spreaders.Does anyone have a line on replacement parts or cost. Thanks in advance for any help?

Mac26 Mast

I have a used mast off a 26D if you're interested. I'm not familiar enough with the 26X to say if it would fit. I'm a lot closer than Clearwater FL LOL mellmail@cableone.net

Thanks for your reply. Do you know the length of your mast. What do you want for it. Does anyone know the length of a 26x mast?

The masts for the 26

X and Ds are the same length (28 ft.). However, the X is a 7/8 rig and the D is a 3/4. That means the hounds are higher on the X and probably the speaders are at a different location. The X displaces a good bit more than the D, has 300 lbs. more ballast and carries more sail...the upshot being the mast extrusion for the X might be a little heavier than the D (the Ds is 38 lbs.). I am sure if you contact the factory, they can tell you.
