I was a little surprised to see the centerboard. Our 90 S had a Ruddercraft centerboard, rudder and tiller when we bought her. I talked to the company then and I thought at the time that they had quit making the centerboards. The company rep said that their centerboard didn't offer any advantages over the factory one, unlike the rudder where theirs is superior. Maybe they never quit production or resumed due to demand with people damaging theirs and needing a new one and maybe the centerboard now does offer some performance benefits.I stand corrected!
Ruddercraft is in Idaho (use to go by the name IdaSailor) and there use to be a Mac owner that posted here that at one time who worked for them and his primary job was making...
