sail looks kinda beat... not sure I would spend money on it..

OTOH, sliding gooseneck will allow to raise the halyard with sheave and the boom. more head clearance...

I have the factory dagger board now. This one in the picture came with the boat. I was told it was for racing.

LOL - I may never try it. Maybe I can find someone to trade me for a factory dagger board.

You should try it en judge for yourself if it is better, also if it alows more sail área you will have to increase the rudder área.
