Pins
Description is vague. There are two pins that come from the factory which are generally attached to the top plate holding the rudder housing. The thick one is for locking the rudder up while trailering and the other is a long skinny one that ties the mast carrier in place. If any others, then you need to ask the prior owner as it was installed by the owner.On the new Hunters now leaving the factory, there is a third pin for locking down the rudder while sailing. It is made of maleron plastic and is designed to break away if you run aground.Crazy Dave Condon
